Employment Protection Clauses

Since 2004, every employment agreement must contain an Employment Protection Clause, to protect the employee in the event of the employer merging or selling its business.  A recent judgment of the Employment Court serves as a warning that these clauses must provide meaningful protection and not just pay lip service.
